Start listening
Open Claude and start Read Aloud on a completed response. Use the player to pause, seek, change speed, or download.
Audio & Playback Preferences
Configure language, playback speed presets, default volume, and features.

Mouse & Touch Gestures
Simply hover your mouse pointer over the volume speaker icon on the player rail and scroll your mouse wheel up or down. The volume will smoothly adjust in 5% increments without having to open the slider popover!
Hold down either the ◀10s or 10s▶ buttons to smoothly scrub through long voice answers with dynamic acceleration:
Download audio
After generation finishes, download the complete reply: WebM/Opus for native Opus, WAV for native PCM. Audio stays in your browser.
Audio could not be downloaded. Start Read Aloud, wait for audio to load, then try again.
Help and troubleshooting
Start playback with Claude’s Read Aloud button beside the response.
Playback could not resume. Start Read Aloud again using Claude’s response button.
